Kansas City Irish Fest features more than 30 of the world’s top Irish performers from 5 different countries. You’re going to be busy. Here is an introduction to your 2012 Kansas City Irish Fest entertainment so you can start planning your weekend. Fun starts Friday, August 31st and runs through September 2nd, at Crown Center.
There will be seven stages packed full of entertainment:
The Boulevard and Miller Lite Stage are our main music stages. The Heritage Stage features workshops and performances about Irish history, music and travel. The Children’s Stage focuses on performances for your wee ones. The Atrium Stage is located inside of Crown Center’s Atrium—a great place to go if the weather is hot. The Washington Park Stage is our stage for intimate acts. And our Comedy Stage features some of Ireland’s funniest and most famous comics.
Cost:
$15 per day at the gate
$10 in advance at Hy-vee stores or online
$25 weekend rate in advance
$5 Friday
Anyway you look at it, it’s a small price to pay for all that entertainment and fun.
